InfoPath Dev

Hi,

 New guy here.

 We need to perform a very simple, limited deployment of Infopath.  We need to install it on four machines and will use only one form.  We will need to save the forms on each machine in a specific, local folder.  Other office programs allow you to specify/change the default working folder but that does not seem possible in Infopath.  Is there an easy way to do this so that my users will not need to actively specify the save location?

Hey Jesse.

Typically in InfoPath you control the save location by creating a submit data connection.  This will save it to the same location each time. It will also auto name the form too.

You can use fields from your form and concatenate them to create a unique and descriptive file name.

Then you can have the submit button on the toolbar or add your own submit or save button which performs this operation and closes the form if necessary.
