I'm new in infopath and sharepoint.

My case is :
I prepare to use infopath form to collect information from remote users and stored into sql server.

i'm planning to publish the infopath form to sharepoint server which let users to fill information from web.

In this case, do i need to install infopath in users side?

Yes, you need to install InfoPath whenever try opening InfoPath fom any user side(client side).

A little bit of more information. If you can wait till the Office 2007 is released, you need not install Infopath on users side. You can publish to Forms server and users can fill out the form in a Web browser.
