Setting an entire form to be locked or read only

I am using InfoPath 2003 and want to be able to press a button which sets the entire form ( about 83 fields) to be read only or locked, so that once this button has been pressed no other users can make changes to the form.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

    Clare

    Hello

There is no easy way to do like in Infopath 2007

You have to create an identical view with all the fields set as read only and shift to this view on click of the button

I hope it will help you

    Kalyan is right.

I think the easiest method is to copy everything to a new view and then right click each control and change to an expression box.

    Thanks for the replies.

If I do this with a view, next time you open the form from a form library in SharePoint it reverts back to the default view. Is there anyway of setting so that if something has been pressed the form will always open in the read only view?

    Thanks again

    Yes,

Go to tools and Form options.

Go to rules for Open and Save which are rules that will run when the form opens before it is displayed.

Then you can create a condition, maybe a field is not blank, and if that is true then change views to the read only view.
