    RegForm and URI display

    Hi every one

I have a form in which I display a popup with the URI of the solution (XDocument.Solution.URI).
The problem is that I want to display only a part of this message.

    The message says : urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:name_of_form:-myXSD-2007-06-18T14-29-33
I don't understand the end of the message : 2007-06-18T14-29-33
    - 06/08/2007 is absolutely note the day I created the regform.
    - Does T14-29-33 means the time ?

    Thanks for the help :)

So you are correct about the T meaning time, YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss is a standard XML format for date-time.

The full URI as you know it gets assigned to the form template when you design it and it becomes the template's identity. If you design a new form in InfoPath Designer and click File|Properties, you will see this value there: it will change as you change the form name.

The date/time should be current but it looks like it is being displayed in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) so it will not be your local one.

Once you design the template the URI never changes (unless you change it) so when you subsequently install it using RegForm it will be the same as it was when it got originally assigned.

    I hope I'm making sense :)

    Perfect :)

Anyway, I parsed the string and simply throw away  everything behind the last :

    thanks for the answer.
