I have a form set up with several user roles. I have set conditional format on certain controls (button) to hide them if the user name isnt allowed to use the button.

I have published the form onto a corporate sharepoint server. I can preview the form in each user role and it seems to work fine, however, In real live it doesnt work. Each time I open the form from the Sharepoint server, it opens in the default user role.

It looks as if Infopath cant match the username set up in each role. I did check each username and Infopath found the username defined.

Any ideas on whats wrong?

Hi Taffman,

You might be set the default is ‘yes’ to your user group in Manage User Roles. Then automatically opens the from default user only.

For this issue resolving you have to create one more group which doesn’t contains any user name and set the default value is ‘yes’ for this group.

Tried that but still the users set up in the respective roles are not recognised by Infopath 2003.
