Infopath 2007 forms in Internet Explorer

I have a Sharepoint 2007 B2TR installation on a virtual server, plus am using Office 2007 B2TR on a virtual PC, and I am having problems with the browser-enabled forms. NB the forms that I'm putting on were previously Infopath 2003 forms, and have been upgraded. What happens is that the forms are published to the Sharepoint library, with browser-enabled features selected. I then cannot find the forms on the Sharepoint library, but can upload them from inside the Sharepoint administrator tools. However, when I try to open a form, I get the following error:

This form template is not currently browser-enabled. It must
either be republished as a browser-enabled form, or opened
using Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 (Beta).

Obviously it works fine in Infopath, but as I'm currently the only person in the organisation to be using it, the browser option needs to work.

    Could anybody help please?

    Hi Tluce,
Did you open the InfoPath 2003 forms in InfoPath 2007 and browser enable them? I think there is also a setting in SharePoint 2007 when you add a new content type or document to your site collection - you can specify whether it is browser enabled by default. The only other thing I can think of is if the form has code you will need to a) make sure it is managed code (since script won't work), and b) approve the forms to run on the server. But, I think it's probably not that problem. Try republishing from IP2007 with browser enabled.

Re: Infopath 2007 forms in Internet Explorer

    Patrick,

I opened the Infopath 2003 forms in Infopath 2007, then browser-enabled them. Also I set Sharepoint to have browser-enabled forms by default. The original code was C# from Visual Studio 2003, now it has been converted to VSTA or VSTO (can't remember which) to run in Infopath 2007 - would that be a problem?

As far as I'm aware the forms are approved to run on the server - I'm not too sure as I haven't used Sharepoint previously to this - but when publishing the forms it said that they were administrator approved. I don't know if I need to do anymore than that?
