InfoPath 2007: can't submit object to web service

We have a simple form submitting to a web method:

public void SaveCallSiteVisitNoteObject(string ceId, CallSiteVisitNote notes)

The submit data connection is configured to submit the group node of the schema corresponds to the type, with "Text and child elements only" option. "Submit data as a string" checkbox is clear.

The developer#%92s machine is installed with VS 2005, .Net 3.0 and InfoPath 2007 client.

Upon clicking submit button, the form shows following error message box:

    InfoPath cannot submit the form.
An error occurred while the form was being submitted.

    which contains following details:

The SOAP response indicates that an error occurred:

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to read request. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: There is an error in XML document (1, 432). ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.

Hi niteshambastha and welcome to our forum!
Has the submit ever worked? Looks like a parameter issue with the input string.

Re: InfoPath 2007: can't submit object to web service

We are having the same problem when we try to not give the data connection a value to an integer parameter to any web method.  I even have a web method that just take one integer parameter and returns it.  Give the parameter a value and it works.  Don't provide a value and you get the error above.  Is there anyway to get InfoPath to send nulls to a web service or to get around this problem?
