    Using XML-Forms to update SQL-Database

    Dear InfoPath Developers

I've got a problem with InfoPath, which I'd like to describe to you:

On one of our SQL servers contains a database, on which we store entries for changes on database systems (The columns are: Date, System, Database, DBA, Change-Description).
I exported these information in an InfoPath-File, using the option "Data Link to SQL server".
The export/import makes no problems, but I don't know how to teach my XML-File to sort the output by database systems without showing me some other entries.
    To give you an example:
I just want to see the entries for the system "xyz880". I'd like to be able to choose this system in a dropdown list.
I can see all available systems in the dropdown list but when I choose xyz880 with a click it doesn't sort anything. I don't know which settings I have to make. (??)

This all is necessarily because I want to use the same template for each system. It should just be a form to insert information on one of these systems and not to save anything.

Can you tell me what I have to do?

    Thank you very much

    Hello,

Did You try using Filters on the drop down box. Using Filters and rules You can show only those entries related to your selection.
