    The Form has been Closed

I am getting the following error message when I try to submit a completed browser-based form to my Sharepoint library.

    1. I have a submit button to submit a completed form to my sharepoint library.

    2. After I complete the form and submit the form, I get an error message (thats not very informative) "There has been an error while processing the form". I get two options "TRY AGAIN" or "EXIT FORM". Since there is no information on the error. I "EXIT FORM". The next message is "the form has been closed"

    3. When I look-up information on the message "The Form has been Closed". All information tells me to Activate the form? Do I need to activate a form even if I publish the template to my forms library?

    4. If I have to Activate the form. Can someone point me to some instruction on how this is done.

    Hi RSP,
I would recommend checking the log file to see exactly what the problem is first:
Go to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\LOGS" (or wherever your SharePoint logs are)
Repeat the operation that causes a failure in IPFS and check the latest entry in the log (it should have "Forms Server" in it). It should give you a clue to what specifically is wrong. You can also use the Application Event Viewer to get some more details.

    Hiya,

Not a fun message to write
i've recently had issues with space.  Started deleting things that i didn't think i needed.
Next thing i know, my forms don't work in a doc lib.
It's an InfoPath form, and it worked wonderfully before i became delete happy.

What in the world did i delete that would cause the form to not open and give me the
vrey well deserved message in the subject line, and how do i get the form to open up
    again?

From one desperate and ASHAMED delete happy dummy.

Re: The Form has been Closed

     Hello,

I need one help. When we try to submit the form sometimes if the server is busy& heavy loaded we are getting the popup error message in browser enabled InfoPath forms saying "You do not have permission to submit this form to the web server. Contact the web server administrator to request permission." with TRY AGAIN and EXIT FORM option. I just need to know whether we can modify this out of box popup error message like hide the TRY AGAIN option to the end users.
