    Form conflict

    Hi,

I´ve created an InfoPath form as copy from another InfoPath form, modified it and deployed it to the SharePoint server. When I try to open the form from the server, I get the following message: "The form you are opening has the same form ID as a form already on your computer" with two buttons: "Keep form on your computer" or "Replace form on your computer".

It is possible, to change the form ID? How can I avoid this message?

    Thank you

    Hi, lumix.
As I figer out, before deploying your forms you need to publish them? Ok... So when you publishes your form, do it with another form name on your hard drive...

    Hi,

I have two forms with different names on my computer. One of them, is the modified copy from antother. Both of them have the same default name template.xsn on the SharePoint server, but in different form libraries.

I got this problem as well. Any solutions? I tried to publish with different names etc etc, like suggested, but i still get that error message, when ppl use my forms.

Tried almost everything, only problem is i used the same form as a template for another form library, maybe thats the problem?

I have tried to change the form id in the infopath settings for the form, but i still get the same error message. Also change the name of the template. Still no luck.
