Repeating Table that gets data from sharepoint

    Hi

I have a repeating table in a form i created in infopath that is receiving data from a datasheet in Sharepoint. It actually receives data from two different data sheets in sharepoint. I had some issues with this but i was able to reslolve these on my own.

Now my question is i hae a repeating table that is autopuopulating all data that matches a three digit code and it works. The problem is beofore i even select the code from the drop down list it get a repeating table that has 100 or so or maybe more empty rows in it. Once i select the 3 digit code it fills in the data but there are still like 90 empty rows here that make my form really long.

    How can i fix this?

What is the exact syntax on your data filtering? Maybe something weird is happening where instead of hiding the entire row it is just hiding the fields therefore giving you blank rows. You might try using a repeating section instead of a repeating table they are easier to work with sometimes.

Furthermore, you might want to just double-check and make sure there are no blank rows in the SharePoint data sheet.

    Thanks for the reply Matt

I replied to your other post in the controls area with an answer. This is pretty much the same issue so instead of dupicating the threads i replied there.

I have tried repeating sections and i get the same result.
