Hi All, How to make one form section required by requiring users to choose at least one of the checkboxes? I have a form that has several sections but I want the users to choose one of the checkboxes out of a section as mandatory before moving on or submitting the form. I hope someone can help me. Tae

You would need to use validation rules on every field inside the section based on the checkbox. I'm attaching a simple sample form. Right click the linked form in the reply header and save locally. Right click the locally saved file and select design. Then you can preview to see how the form works.

Can the validation rule be box 1 or box 2 or box 3 as long as they choose "check" they can move on to the other sections of the form?

So you just want one of the checkboxes selected? You don't need validation on the sections? Perhaps you can attach a sample form with a description of what you are trying to achieve - you can attach a sample under "Options" in a reply :)

Hi, Yes, I just want them to choose 1 checkbox and then they can continue with filling in the form. If they don't select one of the checkboxes they can't hit the submit button. Thank you in advance. Evole

Is this picture of a multiple selection list control? Or do you actually have multiple fields with checkboxes?

This multiple fields with checkboxes. If there is a better way, I am here for it.

There are formatting rules on the button and the calculated values? Just click on those and then open the rules pane from the ribbon. I think it is on the home tab and says "manage rules".
