How to locate a notification sent by SPSAdmin via infoPath

Hello, I have been trying to brake down an infopath form we use to see how notifications are sent out once an approver from a certain dept. approves. I have checked all workflows that exists for this form and for the life of me I am not able to match what is being sent out by this form! Its looks to be a notification sent once a button is clicked to approve the form. I downloaded VS to also see if there was anyway to see if possible code is handling this but no luck (if this can even be seen). Please help! Thanks!

Hi - it is most likely workflow. To check for code, you can save a form as source files and look for a .DLL file in the source files. But feel free to send me a copy of the form if you'd like me to take a look? Obviously, I can't hep check the workflows - there isn't a way to send those. :)

Good morning Hilary! I was just wondering if you ever received my email with the form attached? I just want to make sure it was sent successfully...

Emails are not coming from the XSN - it has no email connections. So it must be coming from a workflow on the library - or perhaps from SQL? I do see that the form submits to a SQL database as well - any chance there is a trigger there that sends the email?

A trigger? Like a powershell script or something? Too, being green to this, how do I locate or check for it?

This form has a UDCX that apparently submits to a SQL web service. If you don't know what SQL server it submits to, you may need to open the UDCX in a text editor to check. You'll want your SQL DBA to check for triggers on the database - Again, I still think it is likely that this is coming from a SharePoint workflow, but if you can't find it there, you may want to have the DBA check for a SQL trigger.
