Hi,
I'm submitting a infopath form to a sharepoint form library. In the
event handler associated to the document library, how do I access the infopath form as an xml document?
I'm new to Infopath, any help is appreciated.

Once the form is saved to the library, it is an XML file. You simply need to load the xml file from its saved location and then do whatever xml things you need to do with it.

hello,

this seems to be the thing i need. is there a sample available or any code i can try? i have no idea of how to load a xml-file and get some values out of it. i wrote an event-handler with c# so i would like to extend my code ......

Here's a sample of what you can do:

domMyXml = thisXDocument.CreateDOM() as IXMLDOMDocument2;
domMyXml.async = false;
domMyXml.load("MyXml.xml");
domMyXml.setProperty("SelectionNamespaces", "[NAMESPACES USED IN MYXML.XML FILE GO HERE]");

Then you just use it as you would any other XML DOM (such as thisXDocument.DOM).
