    Form formatting in e-mails.

Hi guys, New to this forum which I have been using to teach myself the way of InfoPath. I have been given the task in my team at work to create InfoPath forms to be handled via our case-handling system. No fancy coding needed just barebone forms that are sent as regular email via our enterprise office account to a recipient email. The issue that I have is when our case-handling system receives the mail, the formatting is messed up. (See attached) On the left is how it looks in the e-mail, and on the right is how it looks in InfoPath Designer. I am using InfoPath 2013. Apparently it is the dropdown-controls that resized to have the same width as the value, are there any way to keep the same formatting (width) as the text controls? Also one of the text controls are off-center which i find weird as well. Just to add this - the same happens not only in our casehandling system but also Gmail and Outlook. If anyone has an idea i would love to know what i could do to fix this to not make my colleagues suffer from hideous design :-) Many thanks in advance,

I usually just design a special section that only is displayed while the form is being emailed (with the data entry piece hidden) that is very simple, doesn't have colored backgrounds, uses only calculated values to display data and so on. If these are browser forms you can use another view, switch views and email. If they are filler forms, you can't switch views and have to use a section instead.... Oh, and these aren't actually email forms, right? Just regular forms with an email submit connection?

Hi Hilary, Thank you very much for the quick answer! It is a filler form for internal use and when you submit it, it is sent to either of 3 recipients based on the choice of the first dropdown menu. I am pretty new to this kind of thing, can you provide me the information needed to make a section that is the only thing sent in the email. Would love to know if this is possible without doing code, or if you could then help me with the code? As i said i am new in this and have just done really basic InfoPaths.
