I am New to InfoPath and and currently learning how to design templates on the 2010 version. TO keep it simple, I have created a form with some mandatory fields.
If all of the mandatory fields are filled out correctly and the user hits the Submit button, It will switch to a Success view.
Where I have a problem is switching views when there is an error. If none of the mandatory fields are filled out, and the user hits submit, it will switch to an "Error view"
But if you fill out even one of these fields and hit submit, it just does nothing, instead of also switching to this error view.
I have tried to unselect "Cannot be blank" for reach of these fields in the properties.
I know it must be hard to visualize, but I have attached a copy of the template.
