Reuse a form template on multiple content types on the same list.

I have a list with multiple content types. I want to reuses an InfoPath form I created for one of the content types as a starting point for the rest of the content type forms. Thanks for your help.

I would think you could just save a copy of the form and publish it as a new content type once you've made your changes. Have you tried that?

I’ve save a copy of the form from Content type 1 and opened in design mode, made the changes for content type 2 but when I click Publish I don’t get the wizard to choose which content type to load too. It just changes the content type 1. thanks,

So - you are going through the entire publish wizard and not just using quick publish? I'd think you would need to go to the File > Publish > SharePoint menu, and walk through publishing to be able to publish as a new content type. You can attach a screenshot under the Options tab if that helps explain the issue.

    This is what I have.

Oh. It is a list form. I'm sorry, it never occurred to me that you meant it was an actual list form - I don't think there is a way to have multiple InfoPath forms for the same list. I think you'd just have to create various views in your list form and give your users a way to select which "form" they want to fill out.

On another list, I have a different form for each contact type. I don’t remember having to create a form for each. I thought I built one and used it to create all the others. Thanks for your help.

I think if you save your list as a template, under the advanced settings, you can then create another list from that template - and customize the form for that list.... does that make sense?

That makes sense. I don't need another list. I'll just create a new form for each content type. I've attached a pic on how I do it. If you can think of a quicker way I would be very interested. Thanks for all your help.
