is there a way to update an InfoPath form from a sharepoint list I have built a CRM using a InfoPath form for each customer, customer information changes monthly, so i am looking for a quick way to update information without opening each customer form.

Is the form published to a library? As you walk through the publishing wizard, you can select columns to promote - and one option is to allow the value to be changed from the list (i.e. demoted fields). The rules in the form won't run, but you can then update the info in the promoted fields and when the form is re-opened in InfoPath, it should have the latest data.
