I have a request to allow users in different countries to select their country from a drop-down list and based on that selection allow them to enter their currency in the cost fields in a table.
I first thought of creating separate fields for each currency value in the the drop-down and use rules to display the field that corresponded with the drop-down selection.
The issue with that is they have given me 50+ country/currencies they want user to select from, so it would require 50+ fields for each Cost field( currently have 6 Cost fields) + a "total cost" field for each row... that is a LOT of fields and rules to create...
I then thought about having a conversion table built into the form to do a currency conversion and they could just copy/Paste the the conversion to US Dollars in the Cost fields.
I found a step by step tutorial to do that:
Part 1
Part 2
The issue I am having is, using those steps no matter what Country I select from the first drop down, the conversion is always "Negative" when converted to US and always the same.
Example.. if I enter 150 in the Amount field and select AUD for the "From" field, the US Dollar conversion is -150 .. If I select any other country it is the same value( -150) .
Any ideas on why that is happening, or other ides to provide the results the user is asking for?
