How to make Template part (*.XTP) from a form (*.XSN)?

My first post here, and I'm a Test Electrical Engineer (but new to Infopath user) creating forms in InfoPath 2010 for test technicians to use for product/regulatory verification. The company requires we use a published form that contains several predefined fields, and this form still has revision churn happening to it, so its becoming frusturating to have to re-create my forms on their new form. My input to customize the published form is to create a "Test Results" table and data structure which supports it. My question is likely very trivial to you seasoned users: How to I create a Template part (*.XTP) which contains only my Test Results table and data structure, from a form (*.XSN) which contains all the additional data? Thanks much, Michael Howell

I attached the part of an XSN file that I want to convert to XTP2 file.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is any way to do that. I think you'll need to start from scratch - just recreate the rules & controls in a new template part.
