    not to exceed a maximum value.

     I am trying to have an InfoPath perform the calculation below with the first column being the input, the second being the result which is a percentage. the third will be the total of the fields in the second column not to exceed 40. no matter how much the calculation amounts to, the highest number that will be in the third column will be 40.

    The first column should prevent the user from going over 100.

    Might this all be possible?

    .tg {border-collapse:collapse;border-spacing:0;} .tg td{font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14px;padding:10px 5px;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;overflow:hidden;word-break:normal;} .tg th{font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14px;font-weight:normal;padding:10px 5px;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;overflow:hidden;word-break:normal;} .tg .tg-yw4l{vertical-align:top}

    enter desired percentage           percentage of 40                       max score is 40
    %10 4 32
    %20 8
    %50 20

    Do you have a form with the columns already in place? Just wondering what the data structure is. Short answer is yes, this is possible, but it would be great to get a copy of your form - you can attach it under the Options tab in a reply. :)
