How to convert file attachment in binary format?

    Hello all,

I want to save the attachment file in the database. Infopath stores the file attachement in base64 Encoded format.I was able to extract the file name. Now, I want the attachment to be converted in binary format, so that I can save it to database.
Can u help me in this?
    Thanks in advance.

Hi Siddhi and welcome to our forum,
What do you plan to do with the images in your database? You should consider just storing the image as a string. It's Base64 so that should work but you'll have to convert. For binary saves, you'll want to write some SQL server code.

Or, how about just using our Database Accelerator to store the forms with the included images? The Developer's Edition is free for a limited time. Send me e-mail and we can send you a copy.

    Good luck!
