InfoPath 2010 Set A field's Value after Selecting Drop-Down list selection

InfoPath 2010 Drop-Down list selection sets a fields value. Drop-down list and field data source are the same secondary data connection SharePoint List. Form has the main connection. How do you set the rules to populate field after selecting Drop-Down list

I've attached a copy of your template with a change on the rule on the dropdown - I'm guessing you want the rule to run when the field is not blank (though you may want to add rules to clear fields when the office changes), but you were missing a filter on your data when you select from the secondary data. Your secondary data will have 0 to many rows, and you need to use the filter data button when you pick a field to indicate which row has the data you need. :)

Thanks, spent a little time trying to reverse engineer the Primary field to get the Alternate field, but got that working also. Prefer trying to figure it out to get a better understanding. Sometimes you just need a lifeline to get started. Thanks again
