populate a field with ldap query

    Hi all,
my question is not specific about InfoPath, but about jscript...so, sorry if this post is not right here. Anyway, I need to have a textbox filled in with surname and name and another textbox filled in with the email of this user. I'd like to automatize the second content: the email must be read by Active directory with a query LDAP or by Sharepoint with one web service.
I noticed that Sharepoint's webservices are not righe for this query(feel free to correct me)...so, has anyone an idea about making a ldap query with jscript?

    Thank u.

    Hello,
There is a tool available in our store athttp://infopathdev.com/webstore/detail.aspx?itemid=18 which should help you get this data easily.

If you have the email in your portal already (wich is -hopefully- synced with AD), SPS exposes a user web service you can call to get this info:

    http://Server_Name/[sites/][Site_Name/]_vti_bin/UserGroup.asmx

    check out the SDK:
