I have Infopath to bring up the form in an email but I would like to hide the send email button in the email. How can I do this?

    Hi,

    Welcome on board!

Can you explain me one more time with other word! I don't really understand what you want to do?

    Thanks

I have programed a send email button into a form that asks for the email address but it leaves that button on the screen. I have users that will keep clicking on that instead of using send in the email portion of the message. I was wondering if there is a way to hide that button once you click on it to bring up the email.

Sure, you could use conditional formatting the change the button.

    1) Create a helper node in your form and call it ButtonPressed. This will be a boolean (yes/no) node.
    2) Add rules to the button that sets the value of ButtonPressed to YES.
    3) Add conditional formatting to the button that hides the button when the value of ButtonPressed == YES.

Some other thoughts on this could me to disable the button instead of hiding it, or creating another disabled button that reads "Please Switch to the Outlook Window" and display it when the original button is hidden.

Hope this helps, welcome to the fourm, and let us know how things turn out!
