I've got a requirement to populate a form with some data from a SharePoint rich text field.
This in itself isn't straightforward. It seems to be a known issue that populating a rich text box from a secondary data source rich text field, strips out the formatting.
but if you use a repeating field in infopath, bound to a secondary data source the formatting comes across ok. I've used this approach by setting the query section of the data source using a cascading dropdown list.
This works fine in chrome, but not in IE.
the rich text field doesnt auto resize correctly.
