InfoPath Dev

Hello,
I have a form in InfoPath which is designed to record the behaviour of students contained with in a base at a school. Each student has 10 questions to their name, each of which is different. In my form, there is a dropdown list containing each of the students names read from the StudentName field in the Student table of the db. When an item is selected from the list, text boxes below must fill with the questions. I believe that it will require some code, but am not familiar with the language used in InfoPath (I believe this to be XML???).

Anyway, this is beginning to do my head in now so any help would be much appreciated!

You can do this by using Rules and actions
Double click on the drop down to open properties
Click on the Rules and then Add-> Set Condition
In Condition select your drop down field in 1st DD and is equalto in 2nd DD and give student name in 3rd DD
Then Click OK and select Add action in the Rule Window
Select Query using a Data Connection in the action Window

Thanks for your reply.

I tried the above, but it just appeared to keep returning the top value in the table. So for instance if I had it set out like this:

NAME - Q1
bob - What's the weather like?
harry - Do you like chocolate?

It will just return: What's the weather like? Even if I have asked for it to give me Harry's question.
