One of my forms uses "auto" Check-out and Check-in (http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/hilary/archive/2010/11/10/check-that-form-out-or-in-automatically.aspx - thank you Hilary!). I also use workflow to copy and delete files in the form library where this form is published.
I know that workflow will not launch when a file is checked out. (A few users want to just close their browser instead of clicking the form's Exit button - so we have to keep an eye out for these and manually check them in.)
My question: What happens to a running workflow if a user checks out a file while a workflow is paused for a time period? Does the workflow just stop?
