Creating form for an access database and email

Hello I am looking to do a form that does a couple things. This form will have 3 sections with different entry fields. The information entered in each of the 3 sections is relevant to one person, but I do not want to require the person to fill out 3 separate forms. When the user hits submit, I would like SOME, but not all, of the field to be submitted to an Access database that is available to all form users and readers on a shared company network drive. I would also like the whole form itself to be emailed out to a few relevant people. Is it possible to have just some of the data sent to a database and the whole form emailed out?

The easy way to submit an InfoPath form to a database is to use the database template, which is going to submit all the data to the DB. Could you instead provide a view or some reports for the DB that your end users can see? If you have to only submit some data, you'll need to either write code or leverage a third party tool.

Do you use SharePoint? Maybe you would be able to promote just the data your end users would be interested in?

You can definitely submit via rules that include one rule to email the form and another to submit it to the DB.
