InfoPath Dev

Hi,

Firstly I have very little knowledge on InfoPath / SharePoint (InfoPath 2010 and SharePoint 2010) 

My question is, I have managed to create a form that will pull information from my SharePoint list, using a drop down control with rules that populate other fields, I want to try and expand on this and be able to edit/update the list while on the form but uncertain on how to achieve this.

Can anyone point me to an article or help with this please?

 InfoPath won't submit to a list out of the box unless you are actually working with a list form. There are some rather long threads on this forum about how to achieve this without writing code - or you can use code or qRules for this.
