Do not submit if field is empty

    Hello,

I am trying to ensure all fields are complete before the form is submitted.

     So an example would be.

If I have first text box- First Name

second text box message - First Name is Required(hidden)

So, if the user hit Submit, the form will not submit as the 1 text box- First Name is empty and the now the second text box message - First Name is Required will now be unhidden so the users knows why the form never got submitted.

Ff you have a solution please can you break it down in steps(idiot's guide really)

There is probably an easier way to do this but the validation error standard message is no good.

    Thanks

Here's a sample. Save the linked file locally, right click the saved file and select design to open in design mode. Then you can preview. My button has two rules - the second rule is where you'd put the submit action, I just have a close form action. Take a look and let me know if you have questions.
