Infopath 2013 trigger email when value of dropdown changes

Hi I want to trigger an email when the value of dropdown changes to a specific value "xyz". Is that possible using InfoPath without using workflows?

Sure. Add an email submit to the form. Add a rule to the field with the condition that if the field is = to xyz, submit via email. The email will have the current form info in it - hopefully that is okay?
