Hi. I have created a number of infopath forms for my office to use with specific formatting so it looks right and print well. However, on some people's computers the font is much bigger and/or the active portion of the page is narrower. When the forms are printed they maintain the formatting of computer that it's viewed on. Any ideas whats causing this and how to correct it?

As to the font size, if the text size in Internet Explorer is set to anything other than Medium, I've seen this.

I have seen this with IE 11.+ in compatibility view have the user(s) remove or add the site and view the form it may resolve the rendering issues.

I have the exact same problem with an Infopath Form Filler form (2013). Ie in the InfoPath client, not the browser.

I've worked for several days on a form to get it exactly right, only for it to be a lot smaler when I started testing on a different computer.

It's a plain form with text and checkboxes. Nothing fancy... :)

The table cells have the same width in pixels and the font is the same size on both, but the text doesn't fit the same way as the original. 

Both machines are Windows 10, with Office 2016 (and InfoPath 2013). 

Does anyone know what causes this?

On my Windows 10 computer, I have the DPI set to 125%, so I have to double-check forms on a computer set to 100%. Any chance that is the issue? Both computers have IE text size set to Medium?

Hi Everyone, I am still with the same issue. Here I am not using any browser, I am using directly the Infopath Form Filler form (2013) installed in all computers. with the tips above I could solve the letters size problems, however the form itself is still narrow in some computers. How can I solve this problem? DPI and IE settings are the same in all computers. Thank very much Regards

Wow - I have literally NEVER seen this before! I can see in the screenshots that both are displaying the same form view. Are all the machines w/ the issue using the same language settings?

Hi Hilary Thanks for the fast response Probably not, we have computers in Portuguese and in English, however I tested changing it in my computer and couldn´t replicate this error, I tried in a old computer of mine and also couldn´t replicate it. The person using it has a computer that is that mix of computer/tablet, can this be the problem? if yes.....is there a way to solve it? Regards

I'm experiencing the same problem here with filler forms.

All Pcs are cloned the same (Win 8.1, Office 2016, Infopath2013),

but on same form, some have it ok, but other have some field text too big.

On the same form, some field are ok, but other identically formated are wrong.

Things seems to be worst with time (depend on Pc and/or server update?)

I truly don't know - Like I said, I've literally never seen this width issue before. If your only user with the problem has a computer that is a mix of computer / tablet, it seems likely that it has something to do with settings on that machine.

hmmmm....i tried to change IE text Size, DPI, language.....nothing really worked, sometimes makes it ever worse lol. Thanks Hillary!! i will just increase the width and redo some fields in this case =(

I am trying another method to solve this issue, changing the width from pixel to inches, however when im trying to set the table with two columns or more to inches, when i open the properties once more it is on Pixels again =(, is there a way to fix the width and other parameter in inches or centimeters on Infopath? The main problem is that the other computers are using are high DPI and all the settings i tried failed, but the table that i set in inches worked

We are experiencing this same issue with a form and cannot get it to display consistently between computers. Anyone solve this yet?

Anyone find a solution to this problemyet ? in my case I have different OS's but the same version of InfoPath filler 2013 15.0.4805.1000.

I know this is couple of years old, so I am hoping someone found a solution for this problem. I am experiencing the exact same issue as the screenshot on the one of the earlier postings.

Any help?
