SOME BACK STORY - I am trying to upgrade the charity I work for's collection/delivery system. I created a form back in 2014 (infopath 2010 till present) which connects to a MS Access DB as well as sending us an email, this required me to create a certificate monthly with full trust...this worked well, we then opened a 2nd location which had to be connected to same system, I moved the DB to our Business OneDrive and this worked well too (few conflicts on DB but this created a "DB Name ("PC Name" Conflict "Date")" so I could merge data later. In September we opened a 3rd location which needed same connected system, now (unnoticed till now) the DB does what it likes! It picks 1 of the 3 sites for a period of time before it switches to another! This i know is to be expected with OneDrive, so I am trying to set up the same system through Office 365. This also comes into line with me being asked to make the form 2 phased, where the 2nd time it is submitted it sends to a different DB.
THE PROBLEM - The infopath form has to be desktop based on the 3(+) computers but submit the data to our Sharepoint List as well as send email, I need the form to open and submit without security warnings, volunteers use our systems with customers, if a warning appears - both the customer and the volunteer could get worried (customer - their data isn't safe, volunteer - they have done something wrong - both normally equalling loss of stock/sale). Trust center will not accept location on my test pc as a location or our office365 list location (exact error I don't have at the moment). I have changed local settings that I know of (access data across domains, prompt for security warning on cross domain connections -blocked by default - no option to allow)
FIX? - I have read that a registry edit can be a fix to similar problems but haven't seen one for this yet
Thanks for any help anyone can give me!
