Hi all
I have a form that use REST services, webforms and Sharepoint lists.
When a user opens a new web form they type in an id number, this is looked up by the rest service and it a result is found if populates fields in the form. The user then clicks submit and the data is saved to a Sharepoint List. This is all working nicely.
However when they click on a submitted form to edit it all the fields are blank.
I'm assuming that I need something like:
if (list field isn't empty) {
get the list data and put it the field
} else {
keep the field empty so that the rest service can fill it
}
I'm struggling to work out how best to do this though. Any advice would be really useful.
