Infopath- Email Address Not Resolved- 2 identities, 1 email

Hi, Situation: I am using the Person/ Group Picker to allow users to select an Outlook contact. This Outlook contact is then fed into the addressed to in an email (via Data Connections in the Submit option). Issue upon submission: "The form cannot be submitted because some of the e-mail addresses cannot be resolved. If you know the values in the form that specify the e-mail addresses, revise them and try again." The root cause in this case is that there is a person who has two separate identities in Outlook with the same email address for both (redundant, I know). This causes Infopath to become confused, because it doesn't know which to pick. My question is: Is there a way to write a function in the "To:" box in the Data Connection Wizard? I've seen people using a the FindOne() function in other scenarios and this seems like it would make sense here too but I cannot write in a way that InfoPath will accept. Also, I am using the 2010 version of InfoPath. Appreciate the help!

Figured it out. See http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4434047/how-can-retrieve-email-address-from-the-infopath-people-group-picker. Specifically, the code provided by Will worked: "I have a simpler solution. Assume you are using the connection wizard to send an email to a person selected from a people picker. in the to field - concat(substring-after(AccountId, "\"), "@domain.com") assuming your companies mail accounts have an entry for username @ domain. because AccountId = domain\username so we end up with [email protected] Worked for me"
