InfoPath Dev

All I want to do is add a condition that states if the logged in user is not the main author hide the field Rewards & Recognition Disposition. I cannot get this to work any clue what I am doing wrong? There are two conditions but cant get the second to work?

here is the issue

main author(people picker) is pulling
displayname
account id
accounttype

and getuserprofile is pulling account name

Rebuild the condition using the field picker. I don't think your current expression is valid.

Sorry Hilary I attached wrong file I did not use an expression that was just because I removed a field.  Any idea what I can do to make this work.  Because Getuserprofile and my people picker return different values I am not sure how I can get this to work. One of the problems is that when the user enters their name is displays it as full name (Debbie Smith).  getuserprofile displays the name in another form.

 It would help if you could include more details. Maybe put the fields for the people picker on the form (see attached screenshot) and see if any of the fields have a value close to what GetUserProfile is returning?

It does not return any of the same values thats the proplem I am not sure how to get around this or how to chage that

I'm trying to understand if it returns anything close. Like, for example, the account ID in your people picker doesn't have the domain, and the account ID from Get User Profile does. But without specifics, I'm afraid I can't be much help.

Are you able to put the data fields from the Get User Profile data connection on your form so you can see what is returned there?

Are you able to preview the form so you can see the values returned in the data source? Your image was just a picture of the form in design mode. You need to see the actual data in order to understand what you need to do to get your formatting to work.

infoPath cannot run the specified query.
The SOAP response indicates that an error occurred on the server:

I have no parameter set for getuserprofileby name for account name could that be the reason? if so how do I know the format of name

Perhaps you could put the query field on the form and a button that runs the query. Then you would be able to experiment in preview and discover what will work to return results.
