Select Field Value from current row in repeating table

    Hi All,

I used to be able to use (InfoPath 2007) the expression current()..@Title to select the value of the Title field in the current row of a repeating table.

I'm using InfoPath 2013 now and the current() expression no longer works.

Any ideas how to select a field value from the current row (node) of a repeating table?

In the example below I would like the favorite animal of Mark, but if I try to get the value of that field I get Dog because it is the first listed.

    NameCompanyFavorite
    SandyAllianceDog
    KeithNewmarkCat
    MarkLoadstarHorse
    VernNewmarkFish

The current() function still works. I'd guess that @Title is incorrect - I think a SharePoint list connection no longer returns attributes, but elements instead. Attach your form under the options tab if you need a hand.

I actually posted the form in another posting. http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/30403/103735.aspx#103735

I haven't been able get current() to work as a filter expression.

I replied in the other thread - since you were using a default value in GL code, the formula changes a bit - current always refers to the node you are on, thus the XPath is relative.
