Using Infopath as external facing (Internet) Form for data capture.

     Hello

I was wondering if an Infopath expert can shed some light on Pros and Cons of Using InfoPath as company's Internet Form for data capture.. I was told by a .Net developer; it is pron to SQL injection which I think is not accurate.

I am promoting of using  InfoPath as product for Corporate forms development...

    Hello,

Here's an excellent forum thred from MSDN which discusses the Pros and Cons of using Infopath:

    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sharepoint/en-US/af5cef60-084e-4053-bd8c-292e006a06c5/advantage-of-using-infopath-in-sharepoint

Also, although InfoPath does not require you to use code, you might need to write code if you somehow encouter an Infopath limitation. And this is where I would like recommend qRules. qRules adds missing features to your InfoPath forms – it adds the power of code with the convenience of using InfoPath rules.

And if you are dealing with hundreds of thousands of data, a scalable solution is to use a database - you might want to look into Qdabra's Database Accelerator and take advantage of the DBXL Web Services it provides.

    Hope this helps.
