Formatting of Form Is Wrong in Email after Submittal of Browser form

    Hello,

I have read many formatting questions posted regarding submitted web forms to email. I have a form that is published on SharePoint Online. When the form is submitted, it is submitted to an email (outlook). The email is then reviewed and edited in outlook and another button submits the final form to our online ticketing system which takes the form as an email. My problem is that when the form arrives in the ticketing system, it looks terrible! It is only a one column text file which makes it very hard to read. The columns are all pixel sized and I've created separate tables for each row (read that in another post). Does anyone have any solutions for the formatting of this?

    Here's an example:

    ACCOUNT CHANGE / CORRECTION

    Date of Request:

    7/9/2015

    Employee Current Name:

    test

    Type of Change:

    Name Correction

    Type the Correction:

    test

    Miscellaneous Notes:

    test

    Hello,

This is a known issue with Outlook and I have not seen any solution for it yet. One workaround you can do is use an HTML email in a SharePoint workflow to adjust how the data is displayed in the email. Here's the link to our webiinar: InfoPath: Workflows that email repeating data as HTML - October 3, 2013 Webinar

    Hope this helps.
