view error message in Infopath Designer after getting new laptop

I have a form that I created on my old laptop which worked fine. After I got my new laptop (same Windows 7 enterprise with Office Professional Plus 2010 as before however IE went from version 9 to 11), every form I open in Designer gives me the following error "InfoPath cannot load the view. The view may have been modified to contain unsupported HTML such as frames". Sometimes I get the error right away, some times I can work for awhile before I get it. It happens on forms with single views as well as multiple views. I have tried clearing the cache but I still get the error. I tried creating brand new simple forms and I get the error. I don't do any special coding, everything I put in the form came straight out of InfoPath menus. The infopath forms I use are not for web browsers, only infopath filler as everyone in the company has it installed. It must be a configuration error but I can't find it and I have tried everything I can think of. This is so frustrating and I have lost weeks trying to resolve it. Our IT department recommended not using InfoPath but I have invested too much time to just walk away

    Hi Sandyol,

This seems to be an unsual bug, and I haven't experienced it yet. Could you try the suggestion from the thread below?

    http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/t/28126.aspx?PageIndex=2

    It says:

    > Open a new InfoPath in a minimised view

    > Then opening the offending template

    Hope this works.
