I have a UniqueNumberList (SharePoint 2010 List) I have NextNumber (Single line of text), FollowingNumber (calculation based on other columns) and NextUniqueID (calculation based on other columns)
I have Infopath 2010 with Qdabra qrules 6.x. I set a SharePoint list data connection sorted by ID descending. In a multi user environment when I retrieve "NextNumber" just before submitting the form to assign a unique number to the form, I am getting duplicates.
How to get the next ID/ Max (NextNumber) from a via REST or using query fields to return specific items via data connection?
Is there a better way to get an unique NextNumber?
