InfoPath preview is okay, but "Live" form fails

My company has asked me to set up a sharepoint site to allow employees to vote on an image. Each vote costs $1. On the form you pledge your dollar amount and the Max Vote is equal to that dollar amount. When a user clicks a vote button Max Vote subtracts one digit. In preview mode this works perfectly, but when I make the form the Home page it goes down hill. When the form is the Home Page each vote subtracts 3 from Max Vote. Does anyone know why this is happening? I even tried to rebuild the form and it still does it.

    EDIT:

I answered my own question. I had an error in a voting button control name

    Hello BattleCat,

I'm glad you found your answer! When debugging rules and logic in the browser, another good troubleshoot is to make sure that post-backs are set to always on fields or buttons that rules fire from. This will ensure that the values are calculated on change or on click.

    Thanks!

    Bre
