Hi,
Yes, it is possible to have a repeating table section for a single SharePoint list item.
Click on the Data ribbon --> Select show all fields --> Add all the fields that you intend to create --> Right click on the field that is intended for multiple entries --> Click on Properties --> Select on the Data option on the "Filed and group properties" dialog box --> There you will see a check box [ ] for Repeating section. --> Check the box --> Click Ok.
By following the above mentioned steps, you can input multiple entries to a single field and rest of the fields will not be repeated.
