InfoPath Dev

HI, I'm fairly new to Infopath and an developing a form for order entry. I have all the fields and controls built with validation but I am struggling a bit to submit the form to different email addresses is this done in infopath or in a workflow>? I need to send the form to different email address based on the fields that are selected... as an example. If any of the fields in the “Order type” were selected the order should go to [email protected]. If “Services” is checked off -the email should go to [email protected] If “Services” is checked off – email the consulting manager that is selected with all the files and details of the order being entered. If anyone knows how to accomplish this I would appreciate the knowledge transfer.

You should first setup a data connection for each email address you want to have the form routed.  You would then create action rules based on the conditions required.

 

I've attached a basic template which should help figure out how to create the data connections and build the necessary rules.

Mike thanks for answering. I looked at the template but it doesn't give me the option to look at the rules or any formatting of field controls. I guess what I am wondering, is if the rules need to be applied in infopath, or should I be creating a separate workflow that gets started when the form is submitted... Thanks, Paul
