Need help with promoting people picker fields in a browser form

Hi guys, I need your valuable help one more time, I have an IP 2013 browser form sending data to an on premise SP 2013 list. I need to promote the values of certain people picker fields to the list so I can later email those individuals via workflow. The problem is that the promoted values are text only, not people fields. I've done this before via workflow following Wonder Laura great tutorial here: http://www.wonderlaura.com/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=178 but I would like to know if the new qRules can come to my rescue once again and allow me to do it in a more efficient way. Thanks in advance, Gus

    Hi Gus,

Please check Hilary's blog: qRules SubmitToSharePointList and a Person or Group Column type. Although this guide uses a SharePoint 2010 environment, the logic still holds true for SharePoint 2013 sites. You may replace the prefix -1;#  with whichever prefix is used by your SharePoint 2013 site (i.e. i:0#.f|membership). Hope this helps.
