InfoPath Dev

Hi,

I’m trying to retrieve a date from my SharePoint Library for when a task chkbox has been clicked in my InfoPath Form and promoted to SP as within the column "Completed"

I've created a data connection and filtered the retrieved data to only pull the modified date where Completed is true. this works fine. Only problem is, It pulls the first date in the list. I need it to pull the last or the newest

Can anybody help?

 Hello Mike,

 Thank you for your inquiry. In your initial data connection to the SharePoint list you can sort based on any column. For this, you should be able to sort by the Modified Date in Decending order to retrieve the newest date. If that does not, try Ascending as well.

Hello Bre, Thanks for your reply... and your spot on... there in the data connection options is sort ascending/descending and Its worked a treat. I feel so stupid now not even noticed or thought to look there (doh!) Really, really a big thank you Mike

Not a problem Mike! I'm glad I could help. It's a feature of data connections that is a little buried and non-apparent but can be extremely helpful in solutions like yours.
