I have a SharePoint list that has a Hyperlink Column. The column allows you to enter the link URL and also a description. In the SharePoint Column Properties the only choices are to show the data as a URL or a Picture. In the list the description displays and when you click on it, you go to the linked address. Works as expected.
In InfoPath I bind a Hyperlink control in a repeating table to the hyperlink data connection field, but when you open the form it displays the URL and not the description. I have tried to bind the control to the description but that doesn't work and also same thing in the xpath of the controls properties. See below.

If I change the SharePoint Column to a Rich Text Column and do the same in the InfoPath Form I can insert a hyperlink in SharePoint and have it display in the InfoPath form, but only when it is opened in Filler and I need this to be a Form that can be opened in a browser. The obvious choice would be to have the description in the SharePoint Hyperlink column display in the form and when it is clicked go to the associated link, but I can't get that to work.
I apologize if this is rambling, but I need to solve this or be stuck with a non-descript URL in my form. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
