Two query data connection action rules on one button

I'm using SharePoint 2010/InfoPath 2010 and having an issue with Action Rules on one button. I have two rules that query different data connections (both connect to SharePoint lists) on button click. I'm setting the query fields on the needed key fields such as to return one record (if present) from each of the lists. I'm having issues with the queries not always functioning correctly. When I open the form (testing in Filler, but this is a browser form) and run the first search, the results are returned correctly. However if I do multiple searches (without closing filler), sometimes the second query doesn't return values when there is an applicable record that should be returned. It's almost like there is something residual from previous searches hanging on, causing the queries to mess up. I'm not sure if it's an issue of have 2 queries on the same button click, but when I only had 1 query, the form functioned appropriately. It's just with this enhancement of adding the second query to the button click, that I'm having issues.

    Thanks for any help!

    Gwen

I figured out my issue. I had 3 buttons that all did the same thing (identical), in 3 different sections (the section that the user sees is dependent on previously entered criteria)...sorry, that info was not reported originally. So, I finally figured out that I had to have 3 different data connections (all set up the same), one for each button. Having the same data connection is what was causing the residual data to mess up successive searches.
