I'm very new to Infopath but I've worked with VBA in Excel, Access and Outlook. I'm really struggling on this one and I know it has to be possible to make this happen. Hopefully I can explain what I'm trying to do.
1. I have an Access Database
2. I have a new info path template connected to that Database.
3. I have a combo box on the InfoPath form that gives user options based on a secondary source (Table) in the main database.
4. My intentions are for the users to fill out this form in the Morning and Afternoon.
5. When the user selects the value they want in the combo box, I need the text box that is connected to my Key on the table to be created uniquely based on the data in other cells.
6. Example.. If the User selects 1234 and the date is 9/15/2014 and it's AM I need the text box for the Key to be.. 12349152014AM
7. I can't seem to find any formatting options to pull AM/PM out of the current date time now().
Can anyone please help me.
